Case Study

My customer required preparation and tile installation for a new Wetroom, preparation and tile installation for floor tiling to a new extension and restoration to an existing quarry tiled floor.

The Wetroom required installation of tile backer boards and tanking to ensure an essential waterproof barrier for the tile installation. Tiles are Limestone effect porcelain tiles.

The preparation for the flooring work required an anti crack membrane to be fixed prior to the tiles being installed. It is important to provide this protection on new screeds as there is potential movement over time. Tiles are wood effect porcelain tiles.

Finally the restoration of a quarry tiled floor which was found after old ceramic tiles were removed. Tile cement needed to be removed from the surface of the quarry tiles before the use of the latest technology cleaning machine. This has a high speed oscillating action to remove deep down dirt. A penetrating tile sealer was used to allow the floor to breath as there no damp proof course under the quarry tiles. The results speak for themselves.
